Request for the Letter of Goodstanding

Please be aware that there are multiple internal steps that need to be followed in order to approve a Letter of Good Standing, so time is of the essence and there are no shortcuts we can take.

We ask that you always give us as much notice as possible. We are still not fully back at the Chancery due to the lingering effects of COVID, so our ability to access the necessary documents is sometimes delayed.

For any urgent requests, i.e. funerals, that are needed within 72 hours, in addition to submitting your requests electronically, please follow up with a phone call/voice message to BOTH Erin Dewimille at 313-596-7149 and Deacon Chris Beltowski at 313-596-7142, confirming that a request was submitted.

Please make sure that you fill out every piece of information on the electronic form. If there is missing information, we may need to reach back out to you, which will delay the process. Again, there are no shortcuts to take.

We are actively assessing the electronic form to see where we can make improvements to better streamline the information and process. We will keep you informed of the changes as they occur.
